Rangers have signed an unknown Danish kid called Adda Djeziri from BK Frem on loan.

The 18 year old signed on Wednesday on a six month loan deal. He hopes to impress in the reserves, and maybe even make the breakthrough to the first team and win a permanent deal.

Djeziri is a striker and has caught the eye of the Rangers scouts who alerted Walter Smith to him.

The youngster was pleased to come to Rangers and said: ‘It’s a big club. Everything about the club is good and it works well for everyone, so I’m pleased.’

His coach at BK Frem, Anders Theil has said that Djeziri is a very quick player with lots of potential but is still very young.

He also said that he probably won’t be near first team standards in the six months but could impress in the reserves and win a permanent deal, which could earn BK Frem some money.
