On the streets and in the stands, that is the remit of the Union Bears.
Whilst they are well known for their efforts in terms of atmosphere and large scale displays, there is another element to the UB repertoire.
As with similar groups across Europe, the rivalry and one-upmanship is also played out in the urban jungle as well as within stadiums, in the form of graffiti.
The popular Graffiti Ultras account on Instagram provides an insight to the scene.
Whilst this type of activity won’t be to everyone’s liking, – especially the local authorities – many others will take an interest and appreciate the work and effort that is undertaken.
One person’s vandalism is another’s artistic expression.
With Rangers Premiership title success imminent, I’m sure it’s not the last we will see of the red, white and blue spray cans.
