The Athletic is claiming that Leeds will sign Eddie Nketiah today and then no more signings will be following that – including that of Ryan Kent.
The winger was excellent for the Gers last season in Scotland and it is clear that we want to bring him back.
Liverpool have only wanted to sell him, though, and that seemed to leave the door open for Leeds United to get him.
However, according to the report, Leeds will sign Nketiah from Arsenal and that’ll be it, leaving the Reds with Kent still on their books.
According to the Express, then, this leaves Rangers with the chance to still try and go in and do something.
You’d have thought that the Gers would only be able to offer a loan but with a few weeks left in the Scottish window there is still time to work things out – that’s if we feel there is a chance of course and Liverpool soften their stance.
