English Premier League side Arsenal have recalled Jon Toral from his loan spell with Granada and the former Brentford and Birmingham City man could be set for a reunion now with manager Mark Warburton.

The Arsenal youth star was with Warburton back in the 2014/15 season during his time at Brentford and he took in 34 league appearances for our gaffer returning six goals in that time.

A further loan spell in 2015/16 saw him move to Birmingham City and another 35 Championship appearances followed with a return of eight goals and he swept their Player of the Year awards that campaign.

This year Arsenal sent him out to Granada but so far he’s only featured five times in the league for them on the statistics I can find and their Official Site has today confirmed that with mounting speculation of a potential move to Rangers to work under Warburton again, Arsenal have now activated their half season break in the loan spell to recall him.

There is no confirmation that his next destination will be Ibrox but it’s seeming increasingly likely as if speculation is to be believed we are ahead of other suitors.
