Rangers fans are fuming at goalkeeper Allan McGregor after a dire first half at home to Kilmarnock this afternoon.

Steven Gerrard’s side fine themselves 1-0 down at the interval in the Scottish Premiership and are now under enormous pressure to turn things round in the second half.

We came into today’s encounter having not won in our previous three matches and more dropped points today would see our season drop completely off a cliff.

McGregor is seen as being at fault for the goal, rushing out too quickly to meet Conor McAleny, who rounded the ‘keeper and slotted home easily.

It wasn’t entirely the veteran shot-stoppers fault, with players like Connor Goldson and James Tavernier completely missing for the simple ball forward, leaving far too big a gap for the away side to exploit.

We simply need to see a response in this second 45 minutes, our season is on the line and if the fight is not there, serious questions will be asked of the team and of Gerrard.

These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on McGregor’s contribution so far…
