Rangers confirmed yesterday that the contracts of Nicky Law, Nicky Clark and David Templeton wouldn’t be renewed for the coming season.

With manager Mark Warburton gearing up for a return to the Premiership for the coming 2016/17 campaign, changes to the playing staff were expected and it’s now been decided that with those three naturally out of contract this summer, they will move on to another challenge.

Law joined from Motherwell back in the summer of 2013 and has made a total of 114 appearances across all competitions, scoring 24 times in the process.

Clark also came in at the same time, but from Queen of the South, and he departs having played 102 times, scoring in 23 matches.

Finally, Templeton arrived at the end of the 2012 summer window from Hearts and in his time with us he made 84 appearances, scoring 26 times.

The club wishes them well for the future and thanks them for their efforts in seeing us return to the top flight.
