Joe Worrall left Rangers in the summer after his loan spell from Nottingham Forrest expired. The centre-back played 32 games for Rangers before returning to English football (transfermarkt.co.uk).
The 22-year-old is now playing regular football for his boyhood club and credits much of his success to his time at Rangers. Apparently, according to Worrall, the Scottish league helped him improve his game. The Scottish Sun sent out a tweet stating that the player thought he was ‘the complete player’ last season for Rangers. While the comment may have been taken out of context by a few supporters, fans were quick to share their thoughts on the player. Needless to say, he didn’t necessarily wow Ibrox last season.
he was a ‘complete bombscare’ at Rangers last season!

Still gives me the fear

He was so far from the complete player – this statement is unreal.
No one fan was sorry to see him go back to Forest.

Had about two good games but will still cost an EPL side about 15m

Others were more concerned about the player’s passing than his defending, while another calls him a complete waste of space.
Could barely complete a pass

Complete waste of space… honestly I would have Cardoso back before that liability.

What do you think? Was Worrall’s loan at Rangers successful, or do you agree with these fans that his season in Glasgow was a waste? Share your thoughts in the poll below.
Was Joe Worrall's loan last year a success?
No, I'm glad he moved back to Nottingham Forest.
Yes, I'd take him back at Rangers.
His loan was a success, but I'm still glad he's back at Nottingham Forest.
Luckily for Steven Gerrard, the current defensive setup looks great this year. With Filip Helander scoring his second goal in a week, there aren’t too many Rangers fans begging Worrall to come back.
