Scotland ended the international break on a decent enough note in beating Hungary but the U19`s didn`t enjoy similar good fortune.

The young side has been locked in a very tight group trying to qualify for the European Championships but they were knocked out at the final hurdle last night against Norway.

In a topsy turvy game, the boys lost 5-4 against the Scandinavian side, though it did look as though they were going to win right until the final ten minutes of the match.

A shame, then, but on a more selfish note for our club, Glenn Middleton had a good game as he scored a brace.

Let`s take a look, then, at some of the chatter surrounding him after his performance last night.

It`s probably too soon for him to play for our senior side, but at least he`s looking sharp among his age group.
