Hearts manager Craig Levein was left furious by the refereeing team at Tynecastle on Sunday, after Rangers’ brilliant 2-1 win away from home.
Craig Levein blasts referee Bobby Madden’s display after their 2-1 defeat to Rangers.
“We were playing against 12 men, the referee was abysmal.”
He says he’s amazed Alfredo Morelos stayed on the pitch nevermind not getting booked.

Steven Gerrard’s side have moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership with the hard-fought three points, coming back from a goal down to send Levein and his team home extremely unhappy.
Levein blasted Bobby Madden for perceived injustices throughout the 90 minutes, taking particular aim at the actions of Alfredo Morelos. whom he insisted should have been sent off.
The Hearts boss of course has history of wild outbursts after Rangers matches, famously losing the plot at Ibrox back when he was Dundee United manager.
Unfortunately for him, he’ll have to deal with a resurgent Gers side moving beyond his side in the league table and likely providing a more credible challenge to Celtic for the league title.
Rangers fans found his comments rather amusing, taking to Twitter to mock the rival manager…
Arfield sent off for Rangers yet Hearts were up against 12 men ????

Hearts were toothles, another day it could have been 5 or 6. He is making excuses for his Teams gutless performance. Hearts deserved nothing from the game.

Interested to hear his views on the boy Clares over the top challenge on coulibaly! Straight red every day of the week!

So Hearts will have the same charges levied against them?
Levein has always been a loudmouth but he should just take the hammering and move on.
Rangers top of the league, first time since 2011 and Scottish football had better get used to it.— Robert Kirkland (@belltinkie) December 2, 2018
You’d think the ref hadn’t sent off a Rangers player, ignored a penalty, Sean Clare’s horrendous challenge or numerous other dodgy challenges from Hearts.
It’s a good laugh though isn’t it, all evens itself out etc.
