Rangers youngster Ryan Hardie moved on to Livingston over the summer for a loan spell with the side.
The 21-year-old had spent the second half of the 2017/18 campaign with them where he scored eight goals in 15 starts and two substitute appearances so it was certainly good for his development.
With the arrival of manager Steven Gerrard and his plans up front, the correct decision was made to get the youngster out for further game time and experience but he picked up a foot injury and has spent a fair amount of time on the sidelines so far this year.
Having worked back to fitness, he made his second debut for the side in last weekend’s clash with Hamilton Academicals and although it was only 12 minutes at the end of the 1-0 victory plus stoppage-time, it obviously brings him closer to having a second impact for them this year.

The reception to you stepping foot on the pitch this afternoon was exceptional, and rightly so. Not sure I can recall a more sincere show of appreciation for a player returning from injury (not to mention one on loan ????) through my years following Livi. Welcome back mate!

Quite a few clearly continue to have high hopes for the lad given the potential he’s shown in his appearances for the club so far.
