22-year-old Greg Docherty headed out of Rangers at the beginning of the season to spend time out on loan with English League One side Shrewsbury Town, and since arriving at the New Meadow, the midfielder has made six starting appearances with a further showing from the substitutes bench.
He’s also scored two goals in their last two matches against Portsmouth and Southend United, and in taking the Man of the Match award from his last showing, plenty of Rangers fans were happy to wish him well on social media following a Tweet he posted.
Top result and performance from the team today! Delighted to get another goal and MOM. Great end to a great week! ????⚽️ https://t.co/UZYnF5469G

With him talking a little time to find his feet and make the adjustment, he’s certainly beginning to show his talents for them and plenty of fans are looking forward to welcoming him back, with some thinking he has a big part to play in our future.

Whether or not he can live up to those expectations, the game time he’s getting will undoubtedly bring him on far more than what sitting on the bench will do and we’ll just have to see what the future holds.
