Glenn Middleton is someone who is really starting to excel for the young Gers at the moment and he’s surely close to challenging more for the first team.
He’s still very young, of course, but I think if he keeps up the way he is playing at the moment there’s every chance that he’ll be given a shot by Graeme Murty in the final games of the campaign.
He scored two in the young Gers’ most recent game – as it ended 4-0 – and that comes not long after he found the net for the Scotland U19 side.
With that said, let’s take a look at the reaction to him on Twitter:

The Verdict
It would of course be a risk to throw him in but with the end of the season near I’d say it’s worth us giving him more experience.
We need to ensure we have second sewn up but if and when that happens let’s get him playing for the final few matches of the year.
