‘The best in the land’ – Player heroics has these Rangers fans purring
Rangers stormed into the play-off round of the Europa League last night as we beat FC Midtjylland 3-1 on the night to progress one step further towards the group stages.
The Gers have been an example to all in this country as to how to go about a European campaign so far and it’s certainly exciting to see that we’re so close to the groups now.
Indeed, Legia Warsaw await us and though they are going to be bang at it and a very tough side to beat, there is no reason why we cannot beat them to get into the group stages once again.
Certainly, with players like Alfredo Morelos, Sheyi Ojo and Scott Arfield among others impressing last night, we are capable of giving anyone trouble over two legs.
Morelos was perhaps the star of the show last night, though, and this is how Gers fans took in his performance against the Scandinavian side on Twitter:
