Rangers have had both a productive pre-season and a decent transfer window this summer so I think we can be happy with how things are looking at the moment.
The Gers are a good side and Steven Gerrard has seemingly added some decent quality to his team for this coming season.
He’s now looking to get rid of some players to streamline his squad and Jak Alnwick is the latest to follow the likes of Ross McCrorie and Ryan Hardie out of the door.
Clearly, is a goalkeeper that’s seen as third choice at the moment and so it makes sense for him to be moved out on loan, though some Gers are suggesting it would be best to now just sell him.
Let’s take a look at the reaction to his exit to League One side Blackpool…
Jak Alnwick (@alnwick42) has joined English League One club Blackpool on-loan until the end of the season: https://t.co/bXqDDjysBu pic.twitter.com/QrRIkgZSct

Should've just sold him

Allan McGregor might retire after this season. I could see Alnwick as a back-up for Foderingham next season.

His contact ends at the end of the season he will be off on a free

Why can’t we just sell these fringe players, like I can see Dodoo and Holt going out on loan again

That’s what’s happens when you pay players over inflated wages you can’t move them on

He’s an okay goalkeeper but will need to prove himself this season if his long-term future is to lie with us.
