David Templeton has insisted that Rangers will be a better team next season after the experience of this campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site as players and staff begin to look back at the season whilst enjoying their break, Templeton believes the challenges and struggles that Rangers faced in SFL3 will stand all of the players in good stead as we mount a challenge on SFL2.

‘It’s been a long season and it’s been quite tough mentally, there weren’t many players to start with and the gaffer had to bring in a lot of new faces, without having a proper pre season. Everyone had to gel together and I came in at the last minute which wasn’t ideal.’

In spite of that though Rangers pulled it off, the team began to show some cohesion and for such a young side in reality it can’t not augur well for the future of the club as we bid to put ourselves back where we belong.

‘They’ll (younger players) take that into next season and they will become better players as a result. We all will after our experience in the Third Division.’
