Josh Windass may not still be part of the Rangers and Celtic scene in Glasgow, but it’s clear he is keeping up with events north of the border after his latest dig at Hoops fans this afternoon.

Windass is of course referring to the brief period during the World Cup when Celtic fans couldn’t resist telling everyone just how good the Belgian defender was or how valuable he now is after some average performances against the likes of Panama and Tunisia.

It seems that these days he isn’t the most popular person at Celtic Park, with fans displaying a banner in opposition to his selection by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.

I wonder how much he will be worth this week ahead of the summer transfer window closing?

Currently at Championship side Wigan Athletic, perhaps this tweet is a sign of things to come with Windass this season? Will he be digging at our city rivals throughout 2018/19?

Rangers fans enjoyed his latest, with many replying on Twitter this evening…

  • Vital rangers ? That’s an oxymoron. Yon Josh took some severe and I mean severe pumpin’s from the hoops. Must still be hurtin’ !

  • Poor Josh, his opinion was irrelevant back then, irrelevant now, and will be irrelevant in the future.
