It’s fair to say that Thursday night just wasn’t our night. Whilst the game against Spartak Moscow was an exciting one for neutrals, it wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for heading into the game.
We were hoping that the fixture would be used as a springboard following our win at the weekend, but it wasn’t to be.
Despite leading on more than one occasion, we eventually fell to a 4-3 defeat that, truthfully, we didn’t really deserve. Still, it’s a very disappointing result, and it just goes to show just how mixed our season has been so far.
However, fortunately, it doesn’t appear as though the Rangers faithful are ready to give up, and they’re certainly not ready to criticise the players.
