I must admit I was far from calm for much of last night as the Gers managed to get themselves a point against Villarreal at Ibrox.
It was always going to be a tough game against such a quality outfit but you have to say at the start of the game we were the better side and we had some very good chances to get in front.
Things changed, though, with the red card and from there we were always going to have to defend well.
Defend well we did, though, as we saw off the yellow surge with Allan McGregor in particular putting on a goalkeeping clinic.
The togetherness and fight we displayed certainly left many of us happy and it is safe to say with these comments in mind from the boss that he has achieved one of his aims already:
