Rangers fans are loving the club’s official Twitter account highlighting Jon Flanagan’s tackle on Tom Rogic during Sunday’s Old Firm derby against Celtic.
The full-back produced an excellent performance against the Hoops in the 2-0 win and seemed to thrive on the atmosphere of the occasion, giving everything in the physical battle against their wingers and midfielders.
One moment stood out in the 90 minutes, when he tackled Tom Rogic superbly, leaving nothing out of the challenge and reminding the Australian that Ibrox is now a difficult venue to play in.

It’s exactly the type of attitude and application we’ve been missing badly in recent seasons and highlights the fight that Steven Gerrard has instilled in his team, even limited players like Flanagan.
Next season promises to be a mammoth battle for the major honours in Scotland and I can’t wait to see where Gerrard takes this team next.
These fans were loving Flanagan’s underrated contribution, taking to Twitter yesterday to share their thoughts…
Flano to start every game next season or else ????????????
