The words Steven Davis and Rangers kind of go hand in hand and it feels like every few months there’s speculation of one sort or another linking the now 33-year-old Southampton midfielder with a return to Ibrox.
Having recovered from an injury last season, he has only played once for manager Mark Hughes at the south coast club in 2018/19 and having been linked with him in the summer transfer window, odds are we’ll be linked with him again as January nears.
With the former Ger showing he more than has what it takes still as he took to the pitch for Northern Ireland this September international break, he opened the scoring for them on the evening and a number of fans saw it as the perfect opportunity to laud his talents once again.
Have him back in a heart beat , great player would still be head and shoulders above anything in the league in his position IMO!

There’s also a short video clip doing the rounds following the game, and he certainly wasn’t ruling out a return himself at some point in the future. If his game time remains limited at Southampton this one will certainly grow legs in the next few months again.
