Slavia Prague President Jaroslav Tvardik and Czech broadcaster CNN Prima have waded into the row over the ‘Sweet Caroline’ smear.

It is almost like they have an axe to grind.

Following absurd claims that Rangers players indulged in chants of “F**k the Pope” during a singalong to Neil Diamond’s hit track, the Czechs have now commented.

The translated quote reads:

“I think that the question of the credibility of the testimony has been clarified by time quite clearly. The world would be great if everything were measured by the same criteria.”

Gaslighting

Tvrdik refers to an article by CNN Prima (above), which doesn’t stand up to scrutiny, more of the same nonsense like the original faked video from TikTok, today.

Worst of all, it resorts to victim blaming Glen Kamara – following on from the incident of racial abuse at Ibrox in March.

There is just no need for it.

The Slavia president questions the credibility and character of Kamara, casting doubt on his version of events under attack from Ondrej Kudela – simply re-opening wounds that were healing.

CNN Prima’s claim that Kamara was involved in the chants may well be of interest to the player and his lawyer.

From one calamity to another, today.
