Slavia Prague were very efficient in their business yesterday, with an emphatic win in the Czech FA Cup.

Rangers upcoming Europa League opponents hammered third-tier side Karlovy Vary 10-3.

On the night, there was five different goalscorers for Slavia, including one of the goals which was an OG.

Czech striker Stanislav Tecl helped himself to four goals and the match ball, with two of his teammates recording a brace in the rout.

Next up for them is the visit of Banik Ostrava on league duty, before the highly anticipated first leg clash with Rangers.

This latest strong performance from Slavia Prague comes on the back of their comeback win, away to Slovacko last Sunday when they reversed a half-time deficit to win the league game 2-3.

Rangers will be very aware of their prowess but it is another reminder that Jindřich Trpišovský’s side cannot be underestimated.

Just like Rangers, they are in a very rich vein of form, domestically and in Europe.
