Sky Sports has selected a further two Rangers games for live television coverage in January.

The update came late this afternoon in what is merely an expected memo, whilst one of the affected games is a required change due to the League Cup semi-final, also to be played early in the new year.

Following confirmation from the SPFL, a new slot has been provided for the away games at Tannadice and Rugby Park, respectively.

Rangers will take on Dundee United on Sunday 8th January with a 4pm kick-off whilst the fixture against Derek McInnes’ Killie will now be played on Wednesday 18th January with an 8pm start. The latter was due to take place three days earlier but the change was required because of the meeting with Aberdeen at Hampden taking precedence.

The January schedule is now just missing the detail on the Scottish Cup match which will take place on the weekend of 20-22 January with the draw for the fourth round to be set out once the previous round of games is concluded at the end of November.

Rangers January schedule:

Celtic (H) – 2 Jan

Dundee Utd (A) – 8 Jan

Aberdeen (N) – 15 Jan

Kilmarnock (A) – 18 Jan

Scottish Cup – 20-22 Jan

St Johnstone (H) – 28 Jan
