Side looking to sneak past Rangers and get deal for international sorted

|

If Rangers want to sign John Souttar this summer from Hearts, it looks as though they are going to have to beat Cardiff City in the challenge for him now.

Indeed, this report comes via Football Insider who claim that the Bluebirds have made contact with the Jambos to see if a transfer might be possible, whilst they also suggest the Gers retain him as a transfer target.

Souttar is a fine young defender who is strong in the challenge thanks to his big frame and he’s also good in the air.

However, there hasn’t been any real effort, so far, from the men from Ibrox to try and get him in in recent weeks, so Cardiff might well feel confident that they can get a deal done.

That said, now they are involved, perhaps this will spark the Gers into life, with a new centre-back an ideal arrival after Joe Worrall left the club.
