Rangers were lacklustre to say the least last night and it is safe to say that they need to bounce back as soon as possible ahead of some big games this month.
If we’re serious about winning the league this season – and I think that we can for sure – we have to win games like that.
We had got a good run going at Ibrox but losing like that makes you wonder whether some players are really cut out for it.
Certainly, some went hiding and needed digging out on the pitch but few seemed willing to give them a rocket during the game.
One man that was barking orders though, as per, was keeper Allan McGregor with him trying to rally the Gers from between the sticks.
Certainly, he is a proper leader and it seems as though there is a growing case for him to become our new captain:
Give Allan McGregor the captains armband now

100% Allan McGregor should be the @RangersFC captain. Kept us in games all season giving us that bit extra constantly. And is the only vocal player on that park when it looks like going to pot. If Gerrard does one thing from now onwards its make that one change. Absolute must.

The game tonight in a few words: not good enough. Only player again to get pass marks Allan McGregor. And our fans who are calling for Morelos/Gerrard out. Have a word eh. We move on to the next game. End of

How Allan McGregor isn’t our captain I will never know, rangers through n through

The @RangersFC player that will be hurting most about last night’s result is Allan McGregor. He was clearly frustrated and was trying to get the Rangers players motivated. He’s the natural leader in the team for me.
