Many Rangers fans continue to be excited about the progress of Glenn Middleton after excellent form for the reserves side.
The teenager scored two in a 2-0 league win over rivals Celtic on Monday, including a wonderful solo effort having bamboozled the Hoops defence, which you can see below.

Middleton of course has already made the first-team breakthrough at Ibrox, trusted by manager Steven Gerrard to play a number of matches in the first half of the season.
Scoring 5 goals and assisting 5 more, he impressed supporters initially before many believed he needed a bit more time in the second string before being fully ready for trophy challenges at the club.
Gerrard hasn’t started him since December, but with eight goals in his last five reserve fixtures, surely he is due to be selected before the end of the season?
There’s not much at stake in the final few games and testing Middleton against the rest of the top six could be a great way to determine whether he should be part of the squad next season or be sent out on loan.
These supporters want to see him in the team, taking to Twitter this week to share their thoughts…

Glenn Middleton flying again for the reserves. The last few games of the season are an ideal chance to let him get more game time. He was excellent when he first broke in. But became too predictable and some poor performances. Hopefully learned from it and can kick on now.
