With ongoing speculation about the future of Rangers midfielder Josh Windass, a section of Sheffield United’s fanbase have urged their club to make a move for the 24-year-old.

Windass is a regular topic of debate for Rangers fans. When he shines on a pitch he’s a joy to watch and extremely productive for us, especially in light of his goal return. Having come in from Accrington Stanley for a reported £60,000 back in the summer of 2016, he now boasts 19 goals in 70 appearances but he’s also an easy target when things go wrong – not helped by the fact he bites back at points.

With recent reports suggesting that he didn’t feel he was pivotal to Steven Gerrard’s plans and suggestions of a move away surfacing in the likes of the Daily Mail, we’ve already seen West Ham, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion mentioned as possible destinations.

Blades fans seem to want their club to be in the mix as well and if Gerrard is looking to move the player on – which some find doubtful – that more that are interested in him the merrier as it’ll help us drive the price up.
