Rangers Word On The Tweet

“Shambles”, “Out his depth” – Gerrard signing singled out as he struggles against Braga

|

Rangers suffered a chasing in the first-half of their Europa League tie against Braga at Ibrox and one player in particular was the cause of greatest frustration, that his side improved after his withdrawal only supported their opinion.

Glen Kamara has been a shadow of his former self for some time now – especially since the winter break – and the Finnish international struggled to make any impression at all.

Picked ahead of Joe Aribo for his ball winning ability and defensive acumen, he was frequently bypassed in midfield and repeatedly gave the ball away, nearly repeating his gaffe against Hearts at one point.

Kamara’s early season form saw him linked with a series of big money moves to Premier League clubs and yet he is now playing his way out of the Rangers team because of what he has been producing.

Does Kamara need to be dropped?

Yes

No

Fans of the Ibrox club took to Twitter to lambast the £50k signing from Dundee hoping that he wouldn’t reappear for the second half.

Kamara did come out for the second half and promptly played a Braga player through on goal with a misplaced header only for Allan McGregor to save his blushes, however, he lasted just another five minutes after Gerrard had seen enough and was replaced by Aribo and the rest, as they say, is history.
