Steven Gerrard has said that he doesn’t really expect any transfer business to get done this month, except, maybe, in preparation for next season, however, a move for Scott Wright is still very much on the cards.

Kevin Phillips, speaking to Football Insider, has claimed that the Aberdeen forward will be dying to get a move completed in this window with Rangers on the brink of history.

“Wright will desperate to join to Rangers and anybody in his position would.

“You want to get on board as soon as possible, and you just hope is is before that deadline so you can be a part of something special. He will definitely will be hoping.

“There are a lot of players in Scotland and in England that would love to be a part of that squad as they look very likely to win the title. It is just a shame there is no supporters there.

“Any players linked with the club right now would like to move before the window shuts. I am sure it will get done.”

The tide has most definitely turned in Glasgow, Steven Gerrard started the process and we have seen with players like Joe Aribo, that when there is a choice to make, there is only one team in it and with Rangers now in such a dominant position, who wouldn’t want to sign for us?
