The first meeting between the two saw a close game with only a late Chris Maguire penalty separating hem and ensuring that the Scottish team took home the points from Albania. Billy stark was proud of his lads who battled well.

Tonights game was a different kettle of fish and Scotland came away worthy winners.It was great to see quite a few of the young lads get their name on the score sheet, and it must have done their confidence the world of good.

David Goodwillie blasted in the firston the 35 minute mark. Scotland looked very strong and Chris Maguire got the second not long after the restart.Andrew Shinnie a young up and coming Rangers youngster was there to put the ball in the net after Maguires shot was blocked.

Jahmir Hyka pulled one back for the Albanians but Jamie Murphy nodded one home to open the defecit again.Emilian Vila again pulled one back , only to see Stephen McGinn score with a cheeky back heel.

It is great to see so many youngsters scoring and to see such talent coming through.

Lets hope the young lads continue to show their form to reach the European Championships.
