Rangers fans are not keen to see an exit for striker Alfredo Morelos this summer, after Fenerbahce were heavily linked with a move for him this week.

Reports from Turkish outlets such as Sporx suggested that firm offers had already been made for the Colombian, with representatives from the Istanbul side in Glasgow attempting to thrash out a deal.

The fee suggested by the website was around £2.6m, which is clearly below market value for player after his debut season at Ibrox.

Morelos made the move from Finnish side HJK Helsinki last summer and scored 18 goals for the club. Now under the management of Gerrard, who is on record as a fan of the player, he is set to kick on in the 2018/19 campaign.

That’s why supporters are not keen on seeing him leave Glasgow, with 68% of respondents to a poll we published earlier this week believing the club should not sell him this summer.

Will Rangers resist the urge to cash in on him?
