Rangers will be without the services of Spanish striker Fran Sandaza for at least three months with an injury picked up in the League Cup victory over Motherwell. It has been confirmed that he suffered a broken cheekbone after a clash with Shaun Hutchinson.

The Spaniard has struggled to find any form since his move from St Johnstone, and this will not help matters for him. He scored 18 goals last season for the Saints. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and find his scoring boots again on his return. The Spaniard has also played for Dundee United and Brighton.
