Fashion Sakala really didn’t deserve to be abused by his fellow countrymen, with the attacker reacting strongly to how he has been treated by a section of Zambia’s fans.ย
It was a justified response from the Rangers player who appeared to be singled out in the game against Lesotho in South Africa.
Zambia secured a 0-2 victory in that game, just days after a 3-1 home win over the same opposition in which he scored a fine solo effort.
GOD BLESS ๐๐ฟ
No matter how hard it will be,I will continue to wear my national team
jersey with pride because Zambia
represent unity.
When I say itโs hard I mean it

In a longer message on his Instagram account, Sakala stated:
“Being called for National Team games has and will always be an honour to me. However this time it has been very difficult and by far the worst experience of my entire career.”
“Over the years I have endured the pain of being insulted endlessly by the Zambian fans for my style of playing, game after game. The game we had in South Africa on the 26th March 2023 was no different as I was brutally insulted, being called selfish etc by Zambian fans at the Stadium before the game started.”
Numbers
As if Zambia have a wealth of quality that their supporters can afford to behave in such a nonsense way.
Sakala has very recently displayed his pedigree for his national team just as he continues to make a very decent contribution to Rangers season and his strong numbers under Michael Beale.
He will be returning to Glasgow in the coming days, aiming to pick up where he left off, with the full support of the Rangers fans to push him on.
