Hibernian manager Paul Heckingbottom has laid out what he sees as Rangers’ strengths ahead of the two sides meeting tomorrow night in the Scottish Premiership, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

Steven Gerrard’s side travel to Edinburgh to try and ensure pressure is put on Celtic ahead of the Hoops’ hosting of Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

Eight points behind Neil Lennon’s outfit, there’s no room for slip ups at this stage of the season and Hibs pose a tough test with new manager Heckingbottom stringing together victories since being appointed.

The Easter Road boss is also well aware of the threats that the Gers have, putting forward four players who will likely have a big impact on the match tomorrow night.

As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said:

They’re a good side. Alfredo Morelos is the one tends to be the one finishing the moves off. But, no, they have Ryan Kent off one side, generally the left, and their right-hand side is a big threat too.

Both the boys on the right (Daniel Candeias and James Tavernier) are a big threat with the way they overlap, and then they get bodies in the box.

They have a strong bench as well, so there is danger all over the pitch and we know we have to be at our best to get the points.

With three wins from four matches, Hibs will be no pushovers and Rangers will have to be at peak form to pick up all three points and send fans home happy.

All four players that he picked out are undoubtedly the key to victory, but putting in the hard graft in midfield will also be necessary with Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara likely playing big roles.

The performance during Sunday’s draw at Aberdeen was incredibly disappointing, so hopefully we see a reaction from the team and ultimately no mistakes, keeping our title bid alive.
