The Scotsman has reported that Glenn Middleton’s long-term future remains at Rangers, despite him being out of Steven Gerrard’s plans for this season.
The young winger impressed at times during last year and featured in our European campaign with fans liking what they saw from him.
Indeed, many of us probably felt he would have a part to play this season but with a glut of new wingers arriving – aside from Ryan Kent – questions were rightly asked about his immediate future.
And, clearly, it appears that he is not in Steven Gerrard’s plans for this coming campaign, but that is not the end of it in terms of his time at Ibrox thankfully.
Indeed, the Scotsman says that his long term future still could be in our famous blue jersey and hopefully he can do enough this year to prove that.
He’s a player I like and one I think many of us want to see do well.
