Rangers have been linked with several names this summer already and, of course, it is hard to tell exactly who will be going where at the moment.

Indeed, the rumour mill and this time of year is often exploited by some throwing around rumours and it is hard to decipher which are accurate and which are perhaps not.

Four Lads Have A Dream, though, have sought to try and help clarify some of the rumours doing the rounds at the moment – though they themselves stress that the club might be telling them a different story in order to get deals over the line.

Nevertheless, they say that the club has rubbished rumours involving the following players: Stewart Downing, Leighton Baines, Tomas Kalas, Eamonn Brophy, Steven Naismith, Martin Olsson and Josh Magennis.

Again, they do stress in their piece that the club may have denied these rumours to them in order to keep things secret and get things over the line, but it does seem as though this group of players could well not end up at Ibrox.

  • Naisy,Baines,Magennis etc do me a favour, please don’t insult Steven and his management team, the bar is set much higher now and it is a case of refining the squad and adding to it with real care,IMO we should be looking at spending wisely in key positions, such cover or even a replacement for Alfredo as we cannot confidently plan ahead with him continually missing vital games,a quality R/b as I suspect Tav may be on the move, and good money spent on a quality C/B, I think we are probably top heavy with wingers and Midfielders, again a high quality No 10 is the cherry on the cake, and most importantly it is vital that we bring in “GOOD CHARACTERS” of the quality of Defoe,Davis,Jack,Kamara and not forgetting ,Murphy.
