According to Football Insider, Rangers have reached a verbal agreement with Ryan Kent for him to come back to Ibrox this summer for another loan spell for next season.
It’s the deal we perhaps wanted to see most of all in this window.
Kent was excellent for us last season with an array of dynamic performances going forwards and having him back at the club for next year gives us another big boost as we go for the title.
The final sticking point, then, is whether or not Jurgen Klopp wants to let the winger leave Liverpool on yet another loan deal or whether he’d rather something else happen with the youngster.
Indeed, it remains to be seen whether he thinks that he has a chance of playing for the Reds next year but given the fact that the Gers have apparently reached this agreement, it seems fair to assume that the player at least thinks that he’ll be on the move.
