At long last… the long wait for an away win is finally over. Rangers beat Clyde 2-0 on Sunday and put a dismal run to an end. It took until the end of October but we got there. And the icing on the cake is we are top of the table, two points clear with a game in hand.

Dean Shiels opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a cracking shot from outside the box which gave the Clyde goalkeeper no chance. Although it did ruin my coupon as I had Little as first goalscorer, but never mind.

Rangers struggled to kill the Bully Wee off however and it wasn’t until the 80th minute that we could breathe easier. McCulloch, after missing an absolute sitter moments earlier was on hand to tap the ball in after Ian Black sent the ball across the goalmouth.
