A massive amount of people are on the Rangers season ticket waiting list ahead of the new season, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
A record number of season tickets were sold last summer for this campaign, with over 43,000 snapped up by supporters, requiring the club to cut the ticket allocation of travelling Celtic fans in derby matches.
And records could be broken again in 2019, with the paper reporting that 13,000 fans are on a waiting list in the off chance that some don’t renew their current seats.
It’s fantastic backing and shows that the passion for the Steven Gerrard era continues to be strong despite another trophy-less season.
Prices are 5% higher than last season too, but fans have not been put off by that, happy to support the club and the manager ahead of an important transfer window.
Hopefully that backing will be rewarded when the action kicks off again, with many supporters expecting the manager and his team to make serious progress in chasing down Celtic.
