According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are now ready to make a serious play for winger Ryan Kent in the summer window.
The Gers have been excellent at times this season and more often than not, Ryan Kent had a serious part to play in what we did that was good.
Certainly, it would be nice to see him sign again for next season on loan or permanently but it looks as though Villa’s Premier League promotion development will cause us problems.
They are going to have a bigger budget than us thanks to promotion you’d have thought, and it’ll certainly be hard to compete with that if Liverpool jack the price up.
However, Kent knows the club and knows what he could achieve here so that has to go for us at least, in what could be a very evenly contested transfer battle.
Let’s hope we can get him in.
