RB Leipzig poked fun at Rangers expense last night with a cheeky tweet post match.
The east German franchise side were well within their rights to enjoy the moment but that included an obvious dig at their opponents with the tie at the half way stage – let’s see how this one works out.

Hey ho, it’s all part of the game on social media but let’s all hope that the Rangers social media team can give them a very satisfying taste of their ‘own medicine’ late on Thursday after the Ibrox showdown.

On the night, the Rangers supporters well and truly made an impact with the extended away support being somewhere in the region of 5000. The colour, sight and spectacle was fantastic with the travelling Bears giving the locals a taste of what they should expect for the second leg.
In the impressive RB Arena, the home crowd weren’t up to much as expected, apart from a rousing cheer with that goal for Angelino late on.
A raucous Ibrox awaits in what promises to be a night to remember, let’s hope it is for all the right reason with the main one being the result on the pitch. That is the one thing we all want.
In between, there is the matter of an Old Firm game on Sunday in rather different circumstances. Attention now focuses on that game, but it is difficult not to have Thursday night front and centre as the main priority, a feeling that appears to be very prominent within the Rangers support as much as every clash with Celtic requires full commitment for those who will take to the pitch.
