Rangers face St. Mirren this weekend in a game that we really need to be picking up three points from in all honesty.

After the poor showing in the cup semi-final last weekend and then the midweek draw with Kilmarnock, there’s just that slight bit of concern about things right now.

It’s time, then, for a response from the players but, already, it seems as though it might be wise to go again in the January window and make some signings stick.

Of course, we need to learn from the past and be careful but, clearly, there is a good chance that the Gers will be able to act.

Indeed, Gary McAllister had this to say to the press about the potential for new signings in the next window:

We signed a lot of players in the summer but if there’s a chance we can improve the squad further and it makes sense, we should be doing it.
