Rangers staged a sensational comeback at Ibrox last night to come from two goals down and beat Braga 3-2 to put themselves in a decent position to progress to the last 16 of the Europa League.
With an hour on the clock the Gers looked down and out with the scoreline at 2-0 but an inspired Ianis Hagi strike dragged the home side back into the tie, ironically, Braga had missed easier chances than the two goals that they scored and could easily have been further in front.
The Light Blues, despite being on the back foot, had chances of their own with Alfredo Morelos forcing Matheus Lima Magalhaes into making three decent saves, on another night the Colombian walks away with the match ball.
The introduction of Joe Aribo changed the course of the game after the Nigerian international replaced the ineffective Glen Kamara, not only did he offer greater defensive protection but his incredible solo effort brought the scores level at 2-2 for Hagi to apply the icing firmly on the cake in the 83rd minute.

Gers fans took to Twitter at full-time in disbelief at what they had just seen and hailed the remarkable turn around against, probably, the best side to visit Ibrox this season with one player in particular getting a few mentions.
Absolutely brilliant Rangers, so proud. Braga were brilliant, which makes the turnaround all the better. Loads of bottle!

If we don’t sign Hagi and build/shift a team around him for next season, then I don’t know what this club is doing.
A gem has fallen into our lap somehow. Grab him and hold onto him for as long as possible.

Best comeback I think I’ve seen. Aribos goal stunning.

I genuinely was about to burst out crying. Lifetime contract for Hagi with a 100b release clause

Rangers are far from through to the next round having coughed up two away goals but the fact that they were able to score three themselves and had plenty of other chances despite playing so poorly will give them added hope going into the away trip next week.
