Rangers have made their feelings clear on the SPFL’s immediate reaction to their dossier of evidence produced to member clubs this morning with a short but effective social media post.

Despite the 200 page document being issued to clubs at 10 o’clock – and not the SPFL – the governing body saw fit to issue the following bizarre response (via the BBC Sport website):

“It is now a month since Rangers accused the SPFL of bullying and corruption relating to the Dundee FC return.

“Since Rangers publicly demanded the suspension of the SPFL’s chief executive and legal counsel, everyone in Scottish football has waited patiently for them to present their case.

“However, an initial examination of their ‘dossier’ has failed to identify a single shred of evidence to support Rangers’ vociferous claims of corruption, bullying and coercion by SPFL staff.

“If Rangers have any good reason for Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie to be suspended, we have yet to see it.”

Managing Director, Stewart Robertson is set to appear on TV in which he will look to hammer the final nail into the SPFL’s coffin and the untenable position that belongs to Neil Doncaster as CEO.

Who topped scored for Rangers in Dick Advocaat's first season in charge?

The Scottish Sun reported details of where Rangers believe that they have Doncaster bang to rights with evidence supporting claims of the following:

“Gers accuse chief executive Neil Doncaster of holding back key information from clubs and being ‘the guiding hand’ who determined the league’s actions.

“They claim the SPFL could be liable for up to £10million in refunds to broadcasters by ending the season prematurely.

“Gers say Doncaster suggested the SPFL handed over a sponsorship deal to Sky Sports which was significantly below the league’s market value.

“They question why SPFL lawyer Rod McKenzie issued four ‘cease and desist’ requests to Ibrox chairman Douglas Park – insisting he blocked their bid for a new resolution.

“They query a letter sent to UEFA outlining how Scotland’s clubs wanted the season over before any vote had taken place.

“And they insist there are still unanswered questions on why Dundee performed a voting U-turn.”

The usual suspects have already poured cold water onto Rangers dossier with Michael Stewart and Graham Speirs questioning it’s strength in record breaking speed:

Rangers battle cry included re-posting their original statement of April 11 where interim Chairman, Douglas Park, made the following remarks:

“The lack of leadership and responsibility from the SPFL as a members’ organisation has shocked me. If ever there was a time for complete openness and transparency, it is now. Crucial decisions are being made on the issues of promotion and relegation behind closed doors and without proper time for consideration or debate.

“The farcical conduct of this affair seems to me to bring the corporate governance and business operations of the SPFL into sharp focus. It is an example of an undemocratic culture, which has existed within the SPFL for far too long.”

Rangers believe that they are in the right here and will not stop until justice is seen to have be done:

Gers fans have called for action from their club for several years now and to follow up statements by applying genuine pressure on those running the game in Scotland, with one simply post they have shown that they have no intentions of going away anytime soon.
