Rangers to announce double signing today – at least! Exciting evening ahead

General view of Ibrox

With the understandable hype around the Aaron Ramsey story, it has gone largely under the radar that Rangers are set to confirm another signing in the form of Mateusz Zukowski.

The young Polish player will come in to provide competiton as an understudy to the captain, James Tavernier and at just 20, he has plenty of time on his side to make an impact.

As above, Jordan Campbell of The Athletic has provied an update to advise of a 2.5 year deal to be confirmed very soon.

In addition to the highly anticipated Ramsey deal, Rangers could even pull off a treble transfer with John Souttar’s arrival quite possible today. There is work still to be done on that one but all the soundings from Hearts and Robbie Neilson make it clear that there is space for an agreement, in terms of what they aren’t saying as much as what they have stated to the press.

The Rangers supporters wanted quality to arrive, especially in the wake of the bitter disappointment in Dingwall on Saturday and what a response this could be.

Not one, quite likely two and possibly even three new signings to be unveiled tonight by the Scottish champions.
