Rangers tipped to take loss on signing

According to pundit Jackie McNamara via Football Insider, Rangers are going to be willing to let Eros Grezda leave for less than we bought him for.

The player has struggled during his time at Ibrox, that is safe to assume for sure.

He’s got talent in there somewhere, but it’s not at the level we need to really start progressing in the league and in Europe.

Of course, it’ll go down as a flop if he does leave and McNamara’s comments have suggested that the Gers could well be happy enough to even take a loss on him:

“How much did they spend on him, £2million? Jeez.

“There’s a player that we’ve not really seen much of since he’s been there. I think if they can get anywhere near their money back they’ll be happy with that.”

I don’t expect us to recoup the full fee at all and if we can get near we should be happy enough to cut our losses.

That’s what McNamara is expecting, then, and it remains to be seen how much he does go for if he does leave.
