Rangers tipped to consider forcing player exit

Rangers should be fairly pleased with the draw we earned last night in the Polish capital and now we can focus on getting back to Scotland and earning a win against Legia Warsaw.

It perhaps wasn’t a classic game but we are well in the tie and now we just need to win the second leg to get into the group stages.

Exciting times, then, but Graham Dorrans could well not be joining us on the journey with pundit Jackie McNamara telling Football Insider that the Gers may well look to cancel his contract to get him off of the books.

He said:

“It depends if they see value in that (mutual termination). He’s been injured and coming back from that.

“It depends if they see him in their plans but they might want to try and free up some money for somebody else.”

Whether or not that is the course of action the Gers look to take remains to be seen but it is clear that Dorrans is well down the pecking order at the club now.

He has quality, though, so if he is let go there should be a number of teams willing to take a punt on him.
