The Rangers team to play HIbs tonight has been confirmed in what is a crucial Premiership clash.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s line-up for the game in Edinburgh is as follows:

Allan McGregor – James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Calvin Bassey, Borna Barisic – Steven Davis, Glen Kamara – Joe Aribo, Ianis Hagi, Ryan Kent – Alfredo Morelos.

On the bench we have McLaughlin – Patterson – Lundstram, Arfield – Wright, Sakala, Roofe.

Leon Balogun remains absent due to injury with Calvin Bassey continuing to deputise in the heart of the defence – the former Leicester man had a very good game on Sunday so hopefully he can build on that positive display.

In midfield, Steven Davis gets the nod over Scott Arfield, with the latter having to settle for a place on the bench tonight. He will be ready if called upon for this game.

Kemar Roofe makes a welcome return to the squad, whilst Ryan Jack is not involved.

For Gio van Bronckhorst, he will be wanting more of the same and another strong performance, this time to last for the duration after the way his first two games panned out – the key difference he will be wanting is for the game to be put out of Hibs reach, as soon as possible.

The away support will be in strong voice and expecting a response from their team after the meek defeat to the same opposition at Hampden 10 days ago.

This one will be lively – come on the Rangers!
