Steven Gerrard has named his Rangers starting eleven for tonight’s UEFA Europa League fixture at home to Rapid Vienna.

Having picked up away from result away from home against Spanish side Villarreal on matchday one, the Gers are looking to build on that with a victory in front of a big Ibrox side this evening.

As announced by UEFA, tonight’s squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Allan McGregor, James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Joe Worrall, Jon Flanagan, Scott Arfield, Lassana Coulibaly, Daniel Candeias, Ovie Ejaria, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos.

Substitutes – Wes Foderingham, Andy Halliday, Nikola Katic, Borna Barisic, Eros Grezda, Kyle Lafferty, Glenn Middleton.

With the squad almost at full strength, Gerrard has named a strong eleven for the fixture with no real surprises in the team despite losing last time out away to Livingston.

Fans will be expecting a big performance in reaction to that Scottish Premiership defeat.

Rapid Vienna will arrive in Glasgow with confidence having beaten Spartak Moscow 2-0 in their first group match and having appointed a new manager just this week after middling league form.

Can the Gers rise above, capitalise on that lack of preparation and secure a vital three points?
