It would seem that Rangers are very serious about making Joe Aribo one of their summer signings during this transfer window.

The Gers will surely be looking to add this summer and, according to Football Insider, the attacking midfielder is one we’re making a serious play for.

Indeed, we’ve apparently made a bumper offer to the player to sign from Charlton that will see him handed a significant pay hike in the process.

It’s thought that the likes of Southampton and other top clubs are looking at him, too, so that is surely why we’re making such an offer as we are clearly keen on him.

A rangy footballer that is smart on the ball in the final third, Aribo was pivotal in Charlton’s promotion from League One into the Championship last season.

However, he still has got plenty left to go progression wise and moving to our club would surely allow him to do that.

  • Where is the quality you promised to sign Mr. Gerrard,
    45,000 season ticket holders waiting!!
I don’t think you realise the chance you were given to manage
    Our great club.
    The honeymoon is over,
    Put up or ship out..

  • If we are to succeed this year and stop Celtic to my mind we have got three important factors we have to achieve to make this happen
    1. The all important factor that is crying out to me and ALL fans is the necessity to get a NO 10 that we are so lacking and crying out
2 A-couple of big Strong Central Defenders to aid and assist the ones we have at present
    3. And finally a good full back who is equally at home in either side of the pitch he will have to be strong and fast and direct as well as strong strong defending
I think we have a fantastic manager and training staff as well as great scouting gut in Mark Allen
Power to you all especially Steven Gerard

    • Thank god David you are somebody who talks some sense and is a true Rangers supporter not like the previous idiot who is only an embarrassment.

  • Not sure about this guy but unimpressed so far in the transfer market however still a good while to go. We badly need a number 10 type attacker, a left back, a solid centre back and an attacking midfielder that can hit them from outside the box as all of our midfielders are maiy central or defensive minded and shot shy apart from airfield but he doesn’t hit them from outside the box much. Forget all these fringe singing unless we are shipping a load of them out. Far too much dead wood picking up wages, vital funds that could be going to bringing in those 4 quality first team starters. If we don’t bring them in I’m worried as what we have right now has proven time and time again that when they start to come into a game and look to be going up then come crashing back down.
